SERVICE REQUESTS
Builder/Developer Request for Natural Gas
If you would like to request or inquire about natural gas availability into a new development that you are building, please follow these steps which will provide UGI Central Penn Gas with the information we need to quickly serve and answer your questions.
Step 1 – Call UGI Central Penn Gas (1-800-652-0550) and inform the Customer Service Rep that you would like to speak to your local Energy Specialist about homes or a development that you are building in a particular town.
Step 2 – The UGI Central Penn Gas representative will promptly contact you and ask you to prepare the following for UGI:
- A written request for natural gas service into your development on your company letterhead.
- Approved Project Plans (showing tract maps, grading plans, sewer, electric, etc.)
- How many homes are to be built? How many phases? The number of homes you anticipate building each year.
- What is your timeline for natural gas lines to be installed?
- Complete list of addresses and lot numbers.
- Are you willing to provide trenching for gas mains and/or services to keep costs lower?
- The average square footage of the homes that will be built.
- Gas appliances to be installed and the BTU load for each home.
- Do you have any gas pressure requirements?
Once you have provided the above information, our UGI Central Penn Gas representative will continue to work with you to help facilitate matters every step of the way. We look forward to providing our services to help you market and promote your new homes by providing marketing materials, open houses and other promotional ideas to help you sell your new natural gas homes.
